What is SheConnects®?

SheConnects® is a monthly opportunity for women in business to come together.  Our members come from all walks of the business world and across all ages.

All we ask is that you are open-minded, willing to share your experiences and genuinely interested in connecting with other like-minded professional women.

Each month we offer opportunities to network as well as learn about business, leadership and personal development topics.

What’s it like at an event?

Our events are always interactive – having fun is definitely part of the plan!

We usually start and finish the evening with open networking with a shared learning experience taking up the time in the middle – usually an interactive workshop focusing on learning skills that can help us in our day to day lives, in work and outside.

If you’ve been before, you know what to expect. If it’s your first time, don’t worry – it’s friendly and fun – nothing too heavy but still the opportunity to learn some cool stuff and meet some great people.

This month – keeping our network buzzing

As we continue to work from home, avoid gatherings and keep physically distant from each other, it can be hard to know how to keep our network active & relevant. So many of the ways we used to do it still aren’t available & sometimes those big online gatherings just don’t cut it.

This month we’ll look at practical ways we can all stay connected, strengthen relationships & be there for each other.

The best relationships are mutually beneficial ones – let’s spend time working out how!

SheConnects® is a free event however we are offering the opportunity for members to ‘give back’ by making a donation to two great causes when they buy a ticket.

• Read718 Children’s Literacy project in Brooklyn, providing support for children needing to improve their reading, and
• Lifeline Grocery Packages in Western Queens, providing weekly food deliveries for families disproportionately affected by COVID-19

In 2020, we raised $400 through our donations. Let’s smash that in 2021.
